RIJ launches
its annual Tree of Hope campaign to light up the life of a refugee child from
November 27th through to January 6th. The fundraiser kicks off with a festive
ceremony to light the Christmas tree in the Karajan Plaza at ARK Hills on 27th at
11;00am.Come and see the lighting of the Christmas tree and hear choirs sing.
Over the following weeks there will be a variety of events
including school choirs, hand bells, taiko drumming, ballet dancing and at
weekends a market place where a variety of goods, including hand made
jewelry and home made cakes and cookies.
Rumour
has it that Santa Claus will also make the occasional appearance too. Some come and join us!
