It's breast cancer awareness month.
And also we have world food day this month.

in the US its Hispanic History month and the US elections are coming up.
on Oct 14, @ TUJ i am organizing a panel on the US elections (See
below.)
Plus its the 20th anniversary of the Japan NPO center so in November we
have the annual national NPO conference AND the national volunteer
conferences.
I hope to see you at one of these events.

(Libetarian).

Mental Health Day falls on October 10, and this year’s theme is
psychological first aid. Psychological First Aid (PFA) training is a
proven method of ensuring appropriate support reaches those in need
