The Women’s Program is a series of talks on topics related to trauma and
abuse. It is a space for women who want to learn more about these
issues, whether or not they have personal experience of trauma.
Participants will not be asked to share any personal experiences, but
there will be opportunities for private reflection throughout the talks.

Helping kids express their feelings through art: a workshop for parents.
Presented by Amanda Cox, MA, AMFT. Ms. Cox is a bilingual
(Spanish/English) counselor experienced with individuals, families, and
children. She previously led children and women's support groups at
Windows Between Worlds, a non-profit organization dedicated to
transforming trauma through art.
Parenting with Mindfulness
This interactive workshop will focus on ways to use mindfulness to help
reduce the typical stressors of parenting by providing exercises and
resources for daily practice. We will explore the ABC’s of mindfulness,
mindful eating, how to stay present and connect with your breath,
discuss common roadblocks to mindfulness at home, and the instructor,
Karin Shipley, will provide a few useful tips and fun resources to help
teach mindfulness skills to your child.
