How can we work better together better across borders, organizations and sectors?  This workshop series will review common issues and simple skills and action items we can take to be more effect right away.  Each session will focus on a different area using case studies which will serve as a basis for discussion. Participants will have ample opportunity to share their own ideas, experience as well as pose questions to the group.

Fall 2020 JWLI Program
JWLI offers an executive leadership development program that transforms Japanese women to be action-oriented leaders with confidence to lead, skills and knowledge to manage, and a plan to make social change in Japan.
Target: Emerging women leaders of the Japanese social sector – nonprofit staff, a social entrepreneur, CSR staff of a for-profit company, or a municipal government employee Applications are all due Feb. 21.

Been meaning to get back to your golf game? Have you been missing nature? Come and join the Jarman International Charity Cup golf tournament on Tochigi prefecture, Studies have shown that being out in nature helps to relieve stress and boost the immune system.
A Fun Charity Cup. Beginners welcome :) 
Arrive by 9:15, Tee off will be at 9:45 a.m.  g
Play fee:16,000 yen per person including 18 holes, a great lunch with locally sourced vegetable buffet and more, after party with snacks, raffle prizes, and a ride on the free shuttle from Utsunomiya station if requested.
4000 yen from each fee will be donated to Mirai no Mori.

Celebrate White Day with TELL annual Wine Auction March 13th. In the spirit of White Day and Love, TELL will be hosting its 24th annual auction, with all proceeds going to support the crucial programs and services provided by the organization. Spring 2020 Lifeline Support Worker Training
If you’re starting to think about things you want to try or ways to grow and develop in 2020 - maybe the Lifeline Support Worker training is what you’re looking for. A 69 hour intensive program teaching you listening skills and how to support someone in need, this is a great opportunity for personal and professional development while also giving back to the English speaking community in Japan. The “in class” part of the training is scheduled to run from February 29th - May 23rd and is provided online so you can join from anywhere in Japan. There are 3 mandatory sessions on Saturdays, (Feb 29th; Apr 11th and May 23rd) which are offered online and also in person for those in the Kanto area.
