Yayori Award Nominations
The Women's Fund for Peace and Human Rights focuses on the global promotion of women's human rights and peace affecting the past, present, and future. The Yayori Award focuses on women activists, journalists, and artists (individuals or groups) who work at the grassroots level with socially marginalized peoples in order to create a 21st century free from war and discrimination against women. They select an individual or a group from the Asian region and offer 500,000 yen.

Global Lives Film Project Japan Edition
Global Lives is looking for people interested in participating in the Tokyo
edition of the project, to be shot during the coming month of July.

At this point we are specifically looking for at least 1 or 2 other
production coordinator(s)/fixer(s) (preferably Japanese with some English or
Portuguese or Spanish ability), willing to work together with us in choosing
the Japanese character for the shoot, scouting locations, and putting
together a crew of creative and socially-minded people to work together (for
free) on this project.
