Your help needed and Job openings:
OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERING WITH RIJ: FUNDING COMMITTEE
THE RIJ FUNDING COMMITTEE would welcome enquiries from anyone
interested in joining them: angie@
EVERY YEAR, RIJ volunteers organize a full program of events to raise
funds and to spread awareness of refugee issues. If you have time,
enthusiasm and would like to help with planning and running an event,
please let us know what kind of help you would like to offer (be it
time, energy and/or expertise) and how much time you can spare to work
with RIJ. Events range from our annual Auction and Art of Dining
exhibition to smaller social activities such as a pub quiz and youth
dance workshops - also we are working on a project to convert a
shipping container into a 'refugee experience'. Volunteers can work
from home or at our office and at times to suit their work and family
commitments. Even as little as an hour a week can make a difference.
And you are guaranteed to meet some wonderful dedicated people and
have fun! Contact: jane@
