Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will be visiting Japan this week, and Democrats Abroad Japan and other Americans living in Japan will be rallying outside the US Embassy on the morning of March 16 (Thurs) to ask the secretary to reaffirm the U.S. commitment to the Paris Agreement on climate change.
Please join us to express your concern that a move by the U.S. to withdraw from or weaken the historic Paris Agreement would be a disaster that would set back the global effort to slow the catastrophic effects of climate change.
Date/time: March 16 (Thur), 7:30 - 8:45am
Location: In front of JT Building (2-2-1 Toranomon, Chiyodu-ku, Tokyo)
Due to police restrictions on demonstrations outside the embassy, all rallies are held at the nearby JT Bldg.

Please BRING YOUR OWN SIGNS in the spirit of our message: Urging Tillerson to ensure that the U.S. reaffirm its commitment to the Paris Agreement.
