I was lucky to have had time with family and to join several events and programs. I decided to focus on skill development this summer and started with the NY Peace Institute's mediation workshop which was amazing! This month I will be back in the thick of it -  teaching and starting two new programs. For an overseas donor, I am looking for nonprofits in the Tokyo area that are getting youth outdoors and doing sports or other activities.  Contact me if you know of such orgs! Program ending note: we are in the 10th and last year of the Tsuda international training program, so a co-worker and I are looking to promote a more advanced version of the program at another educational institution. Motherlink An organization supporting single-parent families and their children around the damaged area in north east of Japan. They just started running free-school for the children who are suffering from the disaster. This school is a place for single-parent families who are suffering by poverty. They can leave their children in our care while they're working, and they can eat here for free. There are so many children who can't go to school or even can't go out from their home because of their suffer from the disaster.
