Below is a list of events and opportunities. Remember many events are online and schedules are changing so please be sure to check event websites or confirm with the organizers.

I would like highlight the Black Live Matter Tokyo March being organized by TUJ students on June 14. There be people from many different organizations, educational institutions and backgrounds.  On Sunday, there are 3 or 4 protests and marches in the area, so it's important to be there by 2:30pm or you might get caught up in the wrong march! On the FB page https://www.facebook.com/groups/248589456432884/  you can find out more about the location and details about how-to for the March. This is a peaceful March to bring attention to these important issues. Please wear a mask, observe social distancing and be safe. Please share the info with your friends and one social media.

Even if you cannot join in person, you can show support online using social media - on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Be sure to also contact/tag your elected officials. Be sure to include hastags such as #BLM #BlackLivesMatter #BLMTokyo. Official posters are below and may be shared online - see below for more info!

The Sustainable Development Education Program has been moved online for Summer 2020 (using Zoom)
We investigate core issues facing global society and how these are being addressed. Participants improve their skills and knowledge while learning more about problems, people, needs, approaches and possible solutions.

For now - we live on Zoom – all registrants will get receive login details the day before the session by email. If you are new to zoom, please download and review the basics of how to use the system a day or two in advance. Also - you will get the login info after you register.
