the focus is on key issues and how these are being addressed. Gain a better general understanding of "The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on  Saturday mornings starting this Saturday, 10:00-12:00, 7/4 - 8/8
or improve your Professional writing skills on htursday evening (starting in 2 weeks)

Presented by Black Lives Matter Tokyo, RealTalk. is a new web-based educational series that aims to explore the topics surrounding racism and systemic injustice in the US, Japan and around the world. In each episode, we will engage in important conversations around breaking down stereotypes, achieving racial equity, embracing inclusion and many more.

SDGs for SMEs

Many of us have heard of the SDGs but what does that mean to me as a small business owner? Many global players in the international economy are referencing the SDGs in their corporate reporting, but how do smaller companies fit in?
SMEs are the heart and soul of communities and make up more than of the economy in most nations and without us – local entrepreneurs - we can’t achieve the SDGs. The good news, according to a report by the Silicon Valley Foundation (more on that in the workshop!), is most of us are more aligned that we think.
Through this luncheon workshop we share ideas and gain insights on how we can work with customers, clients and community networks and have a social impact. By focusing on a few specific goals and indicators we will leave the workshop with more than ideas but concrete steps we can take in our daily lives.
