Tokyo Community Events: May 2006

May is filled with so many diverse events, I hope you will have the time to join at least one.

I would like to thank everyone who joined Skills Build Forum 5 on April 22. I would also like to thank our presenters, Emile McGlone (Mujeres, BEE & Peaceboat) and Chiho Shibayama and Toru Naito, (Multicultural Center, Tokyo) for their time and commitment. Participants were very excited to hear from our panelists and in the afternoon we all joined the community organizing workshop. We had a small but very passionate group. PSC's coordinating committee is always open to anyone interested in working on upcoming Forums so if you have ideas and/or time please join one of planning meetings in May. If you are interested in helping out but can not join the meetings, please drop me a line.

For each the events listed, please contact the organizations below for details. If you would like to have your events included in the June listing, please send event information, using the outline below, to TokyoCommunityEvents-owner@yahoogroups.com by May 27.

Best,
Sarajean
Convener, People for Social Change (PSC)
