TEDxTokyo conference on May 11th
We're gearing up for our 5th annual TEDxTokyo conference on May 11th and it’s looking to be bigger and better than ever before. It will all be happening in our new home - Tokyu's Hikarie building in Shibuya and as in previous years the event will be live streamed in both Japanese and English.
Our theme this year is '1+1=11'. Put simply, don't take things for granted, don't be constrained by traditional views. As we all know, the best TED speakers, the ones that inspire us the most are the one's that surprise, that wake us up by challenging common thinking. The aim of our event is to do exactly that.
We need your help to make this happen:
Share Your Speaker & Performer Nominations / Introductions
Who would you like to see on stage sharing their idea worth spreading? All of the speakers and performers in the past have come from our community recommendations. Please submit your speaker recommendations online here.
New Core & In-kind Partner Nominations / Introductions
TEDxTokyo is made possible by creative Partner companies that share the spirit and principles that drive TEDxTokyo and its passionate team of volunteers. Let us know about special companies, big and small, that you think would be a great fit with the TEDxTokyo community by contacting the partner team.
TEDxTokyo is more than just a single conference – its a growing community with a number of event throughout the year.

Adopt a rescued pet:
There are many kittens as well as dogs available in shelters and many more out there waiting for rescue. Please consider opening your home and heart so that we can bring another in from the cold lonely streets! Contact us today about fostering or adoption, in order to find a friend and save a life.
