November 2016

Nonprofit and community events and news
November is another busy month of nonprofit and other community events! Based on your feedback I have simplified this newsletter's layout so that it's easier to read on phones and tablets.

Before sharing organization updates and event information, let me introduce a book I worked on last year --- I only wrote one chapter but the women who edited this put two years of their lives into it. Chapters are written by 10 experts in sustainability and education.  If you are teaching or working in the area of sustainability or community development, it is definitely worth reading. Thanks to everyone who helped me with my part on Nonprofit NGO response to the 3.11 disasters!

I am working on another of the Tomodachi leadership development programs. This time i will be doing a training for and then bringing 12 Japanese university students to visit nonprofits in Washington, D.C. really looking forward to it.

I am shopping around a sustainable development training program to universities for 2017. Want to know more?  Or if you need assistance with strategic planning or corporate community engagement programs? Drop me a line and let's talk!

Hope to see you at one of the events below!
Best regards,
Sarajean
